Seeking candidates in the following areas:

Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist:

Norton Heart & Vascular Institute is seeking a fellowship-trained advanced heart failure cardiologist to join its expanding program. The ideal candidate will join our Advanced Heart Failure and Recovery Program, a 25 person multi-disciplinary team that includes two board certified, fellow-ship trained heart failure cardiologist, 5 heart failure advanced practice providers, and 3 dedicated heart failure nurse navigators, a social worker, pharmacist, perfusionist and 2 VAD coordinators.

About the position


  • Ideal candidate will have expertise in advanced heart failure therapies including: myocardial recovery, Cardiomems, right heart catheterizations, cardiac MRI reading, cardiac transplantation and mechanical circulatory support devices.

  • Opportunity to work with our nationally accredited cardiac imaging and diagnostics program, four chest pain centers and our HeartCare Center of Excellence

  • Utilizing the LifeVest monitoring system, Cardiomems monitoring system and ReDS System technologies

  • Ability to practice inpatient and outpatient care with a work-life balance

  • Telecardiology services readily available

  • Total compensation package that includes call pay, heavily weighted quality bonus, relocation reimbursement, continuing medical education funds, signing bonus for fellows and physicians located outside the market, and more

  • On-call coverage for heart failure population only

Requirements for this position


  • Medical degree/diploma

  • Residency/fellowship certi?cation

  • Kentucky medical license or license eligible
